Activate composite binder in localised spots

FibreTACK is designed to accurately tack spots during preform layup to secure the composite plies in place.

FibreTACK features heated soleplates that engage with the material to be stabilised using a predetermined force, temperature and dwell profile. The size of number of “tacks” can be adapted according to the application customer requirements, ultimately preventing movement or slippage of the material stack, maintaining relative locations.

FibreTACK can be deployed as a standalone unit on an industrial robot or gantry system. It can also is available as a part of Loop Technology’s comprehensive automated preforming solution – FibreLINE.
