We are an industrial automation and robotics specialist.
Founded in 1998, with a team of 80, Loop Technology provide highly advanced robotic and automation systems from our offices in Dorchester, Sheffield and Bristol. We are an industrial automation specialist, leveraging our expertise in machine vision, motion control and robotics to overcome the most challenging engineering problems and provide solutions that deliver greater efficiency in advanced manufacturing for our customers. Loop Technology is a part of the Loop Group, which also includes Loop Construction Technology and Loop Technology US Inc. located in Seattle, Washington, USA.
Loop Technology’s FibreLINE system is used on projects with global aerospace leaders for ultra high rate cutting, sorting, layup, inspection, tacking and consolidation in the manufacture of composite structures. This revolutionary automated composite preform technology offers a step change in carbon fibre and other composite material deposition rates, when compared to other automated approaches as well as traditional methods.
Loop Technology also provide highly accurate robotic machining systems, automated laser cleaning cells, dynamic 3D labelling machines and pioneering robotic arms for entering into confined spaces such as aircraft wing boxes. We are the UK distributor and partner for both CleanLASER and Robotmaster. Loop Technology were honoured to receive the JEC Composites Innovation and FANUC Global Robot Partner of the Year awards in 2025.
Operating under an ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system and holding Cyber Essentials Plus certification, we uphold rigorous standards tailored to the aerospace, defence, and other regulated sectors.
