Loop Technology’s FibreLINE Selected as Finalist for CAMX Awards and ACE Awards 2025

Loop Technology’s automated high-rate composite preforming system, FibreLINE, recently combined with Zünd’s Aero Q-Line, has been selected as a finalist for both the CAMX 2025 Awards and the Awards for Composites Excellence (ACE). FibreLINE is a revolutionary system that delivers high-rate manufacturing for composite aerostructures, providing a step change in material deposition rates for the aerospace and defence industries.

The Aero Q-Line digital cutting system from Zünd, offers breakthrough levels of speed and precision in cutting composite material whilst reducing the potential for stray fibres.  Additionally, the latest configurations of FibreLINE are integrated with the strongest robots on the market, the FANUC M-2000 Series, as well as the unique Gudel TMF-6 linear track, which is designed to support super-heavy-payload robots for industrial automation applications.

Both the CAMX and ACE award ceremonies will take place on September 9th 2025, with CAMX itself running from September 8th-11th, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Loop Technology are excited to be attending the Composites and Advanced Material Expo (CAMX) for the first time ever! It is the biggest composites event in North America and we will be co-exhibiting with Zünd America in Booth C37. Loop Technology’s Global Head of Sales, Matt Hardman, will be available to answer any questions about FibreLINE and how this product can transform your composite manufacturing process.

The prestigious CAMX awards are presented to entrants with innovative and new technology that addresses areas of critical importance to the composites and advanced materials industry from business, applications, and research perspectives. FibreLINE has been selected in the ‘Unsurpassed Innovation’ Award category, which recognizes the composites product that demonstrates a novel design and has the potential to significantly impact existing markets as well as opening up new ones.

The Awards for Composites Excellence (ACE) is another distinguished composites industry competition, that recognizes outstanding achievement and innovation in technology, manufacturing and product development. The American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA), host the ACE award program, presenting six awards in three categories. FibreLINE has been selected in the Manufacturing Category, under Equipment and Tooling Innovation, a section that recognizes systems that improve manufacturing production, environmental sustainability, or product quality and performance in composites manufacturing.
