FibreKIT is a highly advanced automated solution for handling, storage and kitting of composite plies. It provides optimal material utilisation whilst sorting and sequencing at an exceptionally fast rate.
Nested plies of carbon fibre can be picked from the cutting table or conveyor and sorted into discrete kits in reverse lay-up order. Each part of the kit is logged via a RFID system so its position is known.
Our ply kitting storage systems are designed for use in combination with one of our robot or gantry mounted deposition systems. Bespoke designs are available when considering the fibre deposition system being used.
FibreSTORE is a part of this comprehensive solution which includes flat ply and rolled ply storage options.

Flat Ply Storage
Standard system for a 20 drawer store, 2m x 1m kit placement area available, or we can custom tailor to suit your needs.

- Each drawer can hold up to 20kg of material, 20mm thick

Rolled Ply Storage
Standard systems for 1.3m and 5.0m widths are available or we can custom tailor to suit your needs. Compatible with FibreROLL.
5.0m Roll store
- Storage for 4 x 5.0m composite fibre rolls, up to 235mm diameter
- Individual, self-aligning, pinch arm for each roll (to hold the material on the roll and prevent unwanted unravelling)
1.3m Roll store
- Storage for 4 x 1.3m composite fibre rolls, up to 235mm diameter
- Individual, self-aligning, pinch arm for each roll (to hold the material on the roll and prevent unwanted unravelling)
- Compact design with minimal footprint achieved by lift actuators driving individual roll storage to pick/place position, enabling rolls to be stored closer together
