We are looking for employee number one for Loop Technology US Inc.

We are looking for somebody well connected and experienced in the industry to generate new revenue streams but also have the fire in their belly and the desire to lead from the top. To become a VP and to make the difference.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Strategic development and management of the business.
  • Development and delivery of an ambitious sales strategy for the Company, focused on enhancing profit margins for products and projects
  • Initiate proactive discussions with internal stakeholders to identify the scope of project work required, ensuring that bidding is accurate and remains profitable
  • Oversee and drive bid processes from project/product identification to submission, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather required information and resources
  • Create compelling and persuasive content for bids, tailored to different audiences and requirements
  • Liaise and partner with the Marketing team ensuring sales and marketing strategies are aligned
  • Liaise and partner with the Finance team on all projected and incoming business
  • Proactively engage with department managers to review delivered projects; identifying, initiating, and driving areas of success and improvement
  • Liaison with legal partners for the production of legal documentation to clients, ensuring that the Company’s business interests are protected
  • Proactively identify new opportunities, staying updated on the latest trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies

Essential

  • An outstanding communicator, you will either have a proven track record in sales or you are an A grade engineer looking to broaden your horizons
  • Aptitude and experience in a sales led, high technology industrial automation business
  • Well connected to key stakeholders in our target markets of aerospace and high value manufacturing
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build rapport and nurture relationships
  • Experienced with supporting bid processes from start to finish, delivering project agreements that are beneficial to both parties
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability
  • Demonstrable leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
  • Ability to take on, retain and deliver technical information regarding industrial automation technology and/or robotics.

Desirable

  • Experience in sales management and delivery
  • Experience working with industrial automation/composites programmes from a sales perspective
  • Demonstrable success in delivering an effective and profitable sales strategy
  • Capable of winning business through effective sales and pitching techniques
  • A degree in an engineering related subject would be highly advantageous
  • An understanding of patents and intellectual property law would be highly advantageous
  • Located in the Pacific Northwest
